First the Natural then the Spiritual
The Bible refers to our Christian journey as a race.
It’s not a sprint. It’s a marathon!
After Abraham had “patiently endured” he obtained the
promise. (Hebrews 6:15)
As you follow Joe mile after mile in the Rocket City Marathon you will begin
to see the many spiritual parallels to our Christian race. Nothing is ever as
it first appears. The challenges, set-backs, hills, and pain are hidden at the
start, but they surface as you progress. The good news is- miracles happen just
as quickly as tragedies! God’s grace and strength in this life is what
ultimately brings us to the finish line. In our weakness, He is strong!
You will be challenged to finish strong as you realize the promises outweigh
the problems. 26.2 miles is not for the faint-hearted. It’s for the “faith-hearted!”
